How can we help?
Getting started
How does Morpha work?
Once a week you take a progress photo using the pose guide, and Morpha attaches your weight, body fat and lean mass. After a few check-ins, Morpha shows your trends and a weekly insight about what's changing and what to adjust.
How do I add a check-in?
- Tap the orange + on the Timeline.
- Line yourself up with the pose guide and take the photo, or import one.
- On the Review screen, check the date and body stats.
- Tap Save.
How often should I check in?
Once a week, ideally on the same day, at the same time and in the same place. Consistency makes your comparisons and trends far more accurate. You can set a weekly reminder in Settings.
When will I see my trends?
Morpha starts showing an early trend once you have a few weekly check-ins, and it gets clearer every week. Trends are estimates from your own data, not measurements.
How do I set a goal?
Go to Settings → Set your goal. Enter your target weight, target body fat and how many weeks you want to give it. Morpha calculates the weekly change you need and shows your progress on the Progress tab.
Photos & pose guide
What is the pose guide?
An outline on the camera that shows where to stand, for both front and back photos. Matching it each week keeps your distance, angle and stance consistent, so differences between photos come from your body rather than the camera. You can switch between Front and Back, or hide the guide, on the Review screen.
Tips for consistent photos
- Use the same spot and lighting each week, ideally facing a window.
- Check in at the same time of day, for example Sunday morning before eating.
- Wear similar clothing each time.
- Keep the phone at the same height. A tripod or shelf helps.
Can I change the date of a check-in?
Yes. Tap the date on the Review screen before saving, or open a saved check-in and edit its date. Your timeline and trends update automatically.
How do I compare two check-ins?
Open a check-in and tap Compare, then choose another date under Compare with. Drag the divider to slide between the photos and see the change in weight, body fat and lean mass. On the Progress tab, Then vs now compares your first and latest check-ins.
What is Morph Reel?
A time-lapse that plays your check-ins in order. Open the Progress tab and tap Play my Morph Reel.
How do I delete a check-in?
Open the check-in from your Timeline and tap the trash icon. This permanently removes the photo and its stats.
Apple Health
What does Morpha read from Apple Health?
Weight, body fat percentage and lean body mass. Morpha only reads these values and never writes anything to Health.
My stats aren't showing up
- Open the Health app, tap your profile picture, then Apps → Morpha, and make sure every data type is turned on.
- Check that Health actually has recent values. A smart scale must sync to Health first.
- Return to Morpha and open the Review screen again.
You can always type your stats in manually on the Review screen.
Can I add stats to photos I took before connecting Health?
Yes. In Settings → Health, use Backfill stats on existing photos to attach the Health values recorded around each photo's date.
Do I need a smart scale?
No. A scale that syncs body fat and lean mass to Health makes it automatic, but you can enter any numbers yourself, or just track weight and photos.
Morpha MAX & billing
What's included in Morpha MAX?
Unlimited check-ins, unlimited history, and 12-week, 6-month and all-time trend ranges. The free plan includes one check-in per week and 4-week trends.
How much does it cost?
$39.99 per year with a 7-day free trial, or $4.99 per month (USD). Prices may vary by country and are shown in your local currency in the App Store.
How does the free trial work?
The annual plan starts with 7 days free. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it renews at $39.99 per year. You can cancel anytime during the trial and won't be charged.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Choose Morpha and tap Cancel Subscription.
You keep MAX until the end of the period you've paid for. Your photos are never deleted when MAX ends.
I bought MAX but it isn't unlocked
Open the Morpha MAX screen in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Privacy & data
Where are my photos stored?
On your iPhone, in Morpha's private storage. They aren't uploaded to Morpha servers. Read the full Privacy Policy.
How do I lock Morpha with Face ID?
In Morpha, go to Settings → Privacy and turn on Face ID Lock. While it's on, a privacy cover also hides your photos in the app switcher.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings → Export my photos & data. Morpha creates a zip file with your photos and stats that you can save to Files or send anywhere.
Will I lose my photos if I get a new phone?
Your Morpha data moves with your iPhone backup when you restore a new phone from iCloud Backup or a computer backup. For extra safety, export your data before switching.
How do I delete everything?
Go to Settings → Delete all photos. This permanently removes your photos and can't be undone. Deleting the app also removes all of its data.
Troubleshooting
I'm not getting my weekly reminder
- In Morpha, check Settings → Weekly reminder is on, with the right day and time.
- In your iPhone's Settings, open Notifications → Morpha and allow notifications.
- Make sure a Focus mode isn't silencing Morpha.
The camera won't open
Open your iPhone's Settings, scroll to Morpha, and turn on Camera. To import existing photos, allow Photos access too.
I can't add another photo this week
The free plan includes one check-in per week, and a new one unlocks at the start of next week. You can replace this week's photo, or upgrade to Morpha MAX for unlimited check-ins.
My trend looks wrong
Trends get more reliable with more weeks of data. Check that each check-in has the right date and stats, and try to weigh in under the same conditions every week. Trends are estimates, not measurements.
